Part 1

• Learn how to roll clay rope, even along its length.

• coil the clay to create the desired shape.

• create decoration with the coil or with tools.

• Learn how to score the clay and stick without air holes using slip.

Part 2

• Using Acoma decorative pottery as inspiration, plan a two colour design for your pot

• Paint the design on your pot using terracotta and black colours
